It is a central nervous system stimulant which affects chemicals in the brain and nerves that contribute to hyperactivity,impulse control. It is used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in adults and in children who are six years old. its also used to treat moderate to severe binge eating disorder in adults. NB: its not used for obesity or weight loss.
